Å®ÉñÐßÐßÑо¿Ëù provides students, as well as faculty and staff, with options for maintaining good health. They enjoy free fitness center access, a tobacco-free campus and a 1.3-mile marked walking path that winds through campus. In addition, employees are able to benefit from quarterly fitness and health behavior challenges, diabetes prevention programs, medical plan incentives, stress management groups, free on-campus health screenings and receive 60 minutes of wellness time each week to be used in support of an on-campus wellness-related activity.
Certified Healthy Campus was created in 2011 to recognize both public and private campuses and career technology centers that promote health and wellness for their faculty, staff and students. The program, which has been recognizing businesses and organizations dedicated to prioritizing health and wellness for over two decades, has expanded to offer certification in six key areas: business, campus, community, congregation, early childhood, and school.
