The Wanda L. Bass School of Music hosts the Å®ÉñÐßÐßÑо¿Ëù Percussion Festival on Friday and Saturday.
The festival features 20 performing ensembles from across the state of Å®ÉñÐßÐßÑо¿Ëù with approximately 250 students and directors in attendance; three guest artists -- Dr. Dave Hall from Texas, Dr. Julie Hill from Tennessee and Joe Doubleday from New York City; an Å®ÉñÐßÐßÑо¿Ëù alumni percussion ensemble with alumni dating back to the 1980s; a mass marimba orchestra comprised of performers from all over Å®ÉñÐßÐßÑо¿Ëù; and a showcase concert by the Å®ÉñÐßÐßÑо¿Ëù Percussion Ensemble.
All events are held in the Bass Music Center and are free to the public!
