Biography
Dr. Day teaches accounting for Å®ÉñÐßÐßÑо¿Ëù’s prestigious AACSB Master of Science in Accounting program. As a legacy CPA, Day followed in her grandfather’s footsteps, graduating from Å®ÉñÐßÐßÑо¿Ëù with a Master of Science in Accountancy degree before earning four professional credentials and a Doctorate in Advanced Accounting Theory with a focus on forensics.
She began her career in public accounting, advancing to Senior Auditor before repositioning into higher education, earning rank and tenure as an Associate Accounting Professor. While completing her dissertation on CPA human skill competencies, she worked as a subject matter expert and consultant for continuing professional education, university accounting programs, and course level editing and design.
Most recently, Dr. Day represented the AICPA-CIMA as a Senior Manager in Forensic Services where she created professional education content and initiatives for the CFF Credential and promoted forensic accounting services as a global advocate for the industry. She thoroughly enjoys the creative intelligence involved in conceptual strategies for exemplary global accounting programs and worldwide proficiency for the accounting profession. It is her privilege to collaborate with friends, colleagues and students to promote accounting education and awareness around the world.
