Biography

Dr. Letassy completed degrees in Zoology and Secondary Education from Southeast Missouri State University, a BS in pharmacy from University of Missouri at Kansas City, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas, and a post-doctoral residency in Adult Medicine at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas. She has served as a pharmacist clinician in the Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Unit at the VA Medical Center from 1990-1996. From 1996 to 2016 she served as a diabetes provider/educator in the Family Medicine Center on the University of Å®ÉñÐßÐßÑо¿Ëù Health Sciences Center. She has been a College of Pharmacy faculty member at the University of Texas and the University of Å®ÉñÐßÐßÑо¿Ëù Health Sciences Center. She joined the Å®ÉñÐßÐßÑо¿Ëù PA program in January 2016 to teach the pharmacotherapy content of the curriculum to first year PA students.
