Business school hosts high school business academy

A three-day summer academy for high school students will combine fun activities with a preview of the college experience and careers in business.

 女神羞羞研究所鈥檚 Summer Business Academy for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors will be held July 22-24 in the Meinders School of Business on campus with field trips to sites around the city.

Each day will offer a unique experience. 鈥淟eadership & OKC Thunder鈥 will give students a behind-the-scenes look at the 女神羞羞研究所 City Thunder鈥檚 operations and a meeting with the team鈥檚 executive leadership team. 鈥淢anagement & Venture Capital in Bricktown鈥 will introduce the process of starting and managing successful businesses. 鈥淔inance & OKC Riversport鈥 will show how Bloomberg Terminals work along with an adventurous trip to the Boathouse District to challenge its whitewater rafting course. 

鈥淭he Summer Business Academy is a fun, exciting and hands-on way to learn about the world of business,鈥 said Bob Greve, associate dean of the Meiners School of Business. 鈥淚t鈥檚 also an opportunity to gain leadership skills and give an early boost to your career resume.鈥

Tuition is $195 and includes admission and transportation to each field trip, meals and snacks, and an academy T-shirt. More information and registration, due by July 12, is available online at .
