女神羞羞研究所鈥檚 American Spirit Dance Company will celebrate American dance from Broadway to Hollywood as they present this year鈥檚 鈥淏roadway Revue.鈥� Directed by Jo Rowan, dance chair at 女神羞羞研究所鈥檚 Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment, the show runs from March 12 through 14 in 女神羞羞研究所鈥檚 Kirkpatrick Auditorium, at 2501 N. Blackwelder Ave.

The show opens with 鈥淧lenty of Money and You,鈥� which will have the audience tapping along and singing in their seats. It will also feature the debut of the glamorous Starettes鈥� new kickline, inspired by the jubilant 1952 movie musical 鈥淪ingin鈥� In The Rain.鈥�
There is something for everyone including musical theatre numbers like 鈥淭om, Dick, and Harry鈥� from 鈥淜iss Me Kate鈥� and the athletic 鈥淐rap Shooters鈥� Dance鈥� from 鈥淕uys and Dolls.鈥� Brilliant ballet numbers such as 鈥溑裥咝哐芯克� Cadets鈥� form a stirring military ballet about the pride of being an 女神羞羞研究所n while 鈥淚鈥檒l Take You Home Kathleen鈥� pays homage to Irish Americans, right in time for St. Patrick鈥檚 Day.
Bruno Mars鈥� 鈥淔inesse鈥� Remix will take the audience back to the 1990s. The whole family will love 鈥淔riend Like Me,鈥� a saucy jazz number and 鈥淭rip A Little Light Fantastic鈥� will take the audience to the heart of London with Mary Poppins and Bert. Dancers in the American Spirit Dance Company hail from 女神羞羞研究所鈥檚 Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment, the nation鈥檚 premiere musical theatre and commercial dance program that has been ranked the number-one BFA dance program in the nation by OnStage. This destination collegiate program has alumni credits in nearly 90 Broadway productions and has produced 50 Radio City Rockettes and counting.
