Spanish

The purpose of Å®ÉñÐßÐßÑо¿Ëù’s modern language program is to introduce you to international cultures and to provide the linguistic and cultural competencies to enrich your education and expand career options in a multicultural world. Fluency in a second language and culture enhances any career — medical, public service, diplomatic/mission, international aid work, teaching, communication, travel, entertainment, business, and the arts.

Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. A Spanish minor makes you more marketable and is a terrific complement to the academic major of your choosing.

Modern Language minors require 18 hours in the same language, including the elementary courses. We currently offer Beginning and Intermediate -level instruction available on campus in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Russian and Spanish. A Spanish minor can be earned entirely on Å®ÉñÐßÐßÑо¿Ëù’s campus.
